Dingley Primary School is a coeducational government primary school located in the metropolitan location of Dingley Village, Victoria. The school has a total enrolment of 365 students, 48% are boys and 52% are girls. The school caters for years prep to grade 6.

Dingley PS's purpose is to develop socially well adjusted children in a dynamic learning environment that engages them to work towards achieving their personal best, in an atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation. The school's values are Care and Compassion, Doing Your Best, Fair Go, Freedom, Honesty and Trustworthiness, Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Understanding, Tolerance and Inclusion. Dingley PS opened in 1925 and is about to experience significant change. In the May 2009 State Budget, funding was being released to commence Stage 1 in the total rebuilding of the school. The school was also successful in the Commonwealth Government's, Building Education Revolution, which will see a new Multi Purpose Centre built during 2009. The current enrolment is 375. The school's SFO density rating is 0.44. The proportion of LBOTE Students in 2008 was 22%. There is a strong emphasis on learning technologies with all classes being equipped with Smartboards and PC's. Specialist programs include PE, Music, Art, Japanese, Reading Recovery and Special Assistance. Increasing numbers of students enrolling from outside Dingley Village provides challenges for the school. Before, After and Vacation care operate at the school. There is a great community spirit at Dingley.
